This home was designed in conjunction with the owners ,Linda and Grant. Linda reviled to me that Grant is a tough customer. I found them both great to work for and had a wonderful time building their home because I listened to their needs and delivered a great product on a what was a difficult site,on time and budget.
They came to me with a rough sketch of a floor plan and a list of ideas they wanted to get out of their home. One was to maintain the view of the beautiful Coolum beach the second was noise reduction. This was achieved by a very simple building practice.
And then was to maintain the privacy of the home as it was on the corner of Beach Rd and Pacific Tce.
Designing the home to suit the block of land is the key for a happy home and customers. 10 years on this home is so well built. It looks like it was just finished yesterday, not a crack or any other problems. This home will stand proud overlooking the beach well into the next century, only 90 years to go, like the Grand home of England, standing for 300 to 400 years and counting.
